INTERNSHIPS:
You
do not need to have any experience. You must have an extremely
evident attention to detail. You'll be doing some extensive
record checking and will need to have a knack for thinking on
your feet.
Foreign language abilities get preference.
Telesales
Representative:
Your task will be to promote V.I.P. and its services to specific
client bases. You will be responsible for seeking out new
clients. Commission based.
SURVEILLANCE INVESTIGATOR:
You must have at least 1 year of
active surveillance experience. You must be able to take
rock-steady video. We will send you on an evaluation assignment
prior to your interview, and will ask you to bring both your
video and your report to the interview. Pay is based
on experience and abilities.
BEFORE YOU
APPLY:
Before we tell you how to join V.I.P. as
an investigator, we feel compelled to tell you the following:
1. The job is not always exciting. In fact, sometimes, it's
plain boring. This does not mean you can fall asleep or read a
book, or watch a DVD while on the job.
2. You have no more powers than an ordinary citizen. You don't
automatically get to carry a gun, and if you did, using it would
trigger far more consequences than it would for an ordinary
civilian.
3. If you think you'd like to follow someone around, remember
that doing so without the direction of a licensed agency might
land you in the pokey for stalking. This includes following your
spouse. Marrying them does not entitle you to make them your
prey.
4. Think about what you might do (or how you might feel) if the
person you were following suddenly stopped their car, jumped
out, rolled up their sleeves and headed your way.
5. If you have a criminal record, or consecutive arrests don't
waste your time or ours by applying.
6. If you can't follow simple instructions, you won't be hired.
If you can't use a spellchecker you won't get hired either.
WHAT TO
EXPECT IF YOU'RE HIRED BY V.I.P.:
-
- We
only want the best and we're willing to pay well for it.
You'll be expected to earn your pay. No coasters allowed.
-
-
We'll
never expect you to do something for free.
-
-
We'll treat you with the respect you deserve.
-
- You
can expect to get fired immediately if we catch you in a
lie.
-
- A
5:00 AM start time means you are in place and ready to work
BEFORE 5:00 AM.
SIMPLE
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY:
We only accept applications by email. If
you call us on the phone, we'll tell you we're not hiring. Why?
Because you can't follow simple instructions.
Email the following:
Email these
documents to:
info@viceinvestigation.com
- Attn: HR
There is no need to follow up
with a phone call. If we're impressed by your letter, or like
what we see on your resume, trust us - we'll call you. If you
don't hear from us, you can assume we're not interested. No
amount of calling will change that.
MISCELLANEOUS
People assume that this job is easy, and
anyone could do it. Other agencies may hire that mentality, and
that probably explains why they don't have the client list, or
the reputation V.I.P. has. We maintain high standards and these
standards start with our hiring process.
You'll be expected to be able to calculate simple math. You'll
be expected to understand English grammar. You'll be expected to
be courteous to others. And overall, you'll be expected to
always understand that it's not V.I.P. that pays your paychecks
it's the client that hired us to help them with some difficulty
in their life.
With that in mind, you'll be expected to not run to the local
gas station to use the bathroom while on surveillance. You're
being paid to watch your subject and we expect you to do just
that.
You can expect that V.I.P. managers may be observing you while
you're on surveillance. If you're doing your job, you'll see
them coming. If your off post you just might get fired.
